Christmas Shopping Failure

I usually love to christmas shop, but it seems like this year I just have absolutly no idea what to get anyone! I just end up shopping for myself....For instance yesterday I bought this cardi from the gap.

I swear I'm not an old lady. I just have a passion for cardigans.
Oh did I mention it was -20 out. Yeah real nice. I got a brainf freeze walking to work this morning. You know when it is so cold that your nostrils freeze and your lungs hurt and you just want to scream? Well it's colder. I am going to have to invest in some thermal wear to get me through the winter.
I'm longing for those summer nights where you just relax outside with a cold beer and some friends. Ohhh man, only 6 more months......

Ughhhhh, yesterday was the first major snow storm in Montreal. Je ne suis pas contente!! I am definitly not a snow lover. Througout the day we had close to 30 cm fall. It was nuts. Everyone at work was telling me how lucky I was that I took the metro and that I didn't have to drive on the icy roads. Well little did they or I know that the metro would have some problems and I would be stranded outside in the storm for over an hour. GREAT.
And brilliant me, I don't have any legitimate winter boots (I do this every year) but this year, (tonight actually) I will be buying winter boots. I do not care how ugly they are, I am sick of having wet and cold feet.

This picture was in the newspaper this morning. How SAD is this...

I have decided that I will definitly be moving to Italy sometime in my life haha. Just so I can swim in this pool.

Perched 1,000 feet above the famed Amalfi Coast, the infinity pool at the Hotel Caruso in Italy creates a horizon that seems to go on forever. Hailed by French poet André Gide as "between the sky and the sea," the pool (and view) has been enjoyed by Former first lady Jackie Onassis and Hollywood legend Greta Garbo (among others).

I Climbed the Tree To See the World

You know the feeling when you hear a song and it's perfect? I've had this song on repeat for days now and everytime it finishes I wish it was longer. Oh yeah, the video is beautiful also.
The song is by cinematic orchestra with vocals by Patrick Watson a fellow Montrealer.

By the cracks of the skin I climbed to the top
I climbed the tree to see the world
When the gusts came around to blow me down
I held on as tightly as you held onto me
I held on as tightly as you held onto me

Lovely

I just want to take a quick second to show you how beautiful this necklace is. I am usually a fan of big statement pieces, but when I saw this picture I actually gasped. Sooooooo nice!

Baby it's cold outside!

Oh baby is it ever cold! I'm not ready for it yet, I really wouldn't mind a green christmas! On the bright side I will be heading to fredericton for christmas for a few days. I'm really happy that I will be spending the holidays with my friends and family.

I can't believe it is already december 2nd, I really need to start my christmas shopping. I think I will mostly be doing some DIY projects, I won't say what they are incase the recipients of these gifts happen to come across this post.

I do have my very own wish list though! In case anyone was wondering.

I've been looking for the perfect brown leather messenger bag

I found this bag on Etsy from The Leather Store http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=35654224&ref=cat2_gallery_9
